Who I am

I'm Matt Barrios, and I build leverage for the next generation of marketing operators.

I believe the future belongs to small teams that use technology to punch above their weight class. My goal is to help founders and operators build the systems that make that possible. I especially love working with teams building their content and demand generation system from 0 to 1.

Background

Before I was building AI workflows, I was building communities and marketing systems. I learned early on that the best products and service businesses do not win if the distribution goes nowhere with actual people.

I spent years in leadership roles trying to scale content and marketing efforts the traditional way. Working more, hiring more, running more ads, writing more blog posts. It worked and honed my skills, but it was slow and expensive. When I discovered how to connect systems together to automate the repetitive parts of growth, everything changed.

My years in tech SaaS gave me a front-row seat to what high-quality corporate marketing operations actually look like: enterprise content engines, multi-touch demand generation programs, and the infrastructure that ties them together.

That experience is what I bring to the AI agent systems I build today. I know the standard these systems need to hit because I've lived inside the teams that set it, and I know what it takes to engineer AI workflows that perform at that level.

What qualifies the work

The through-line is actual operational usefulness, not the shiny novelty of AI. The systems on this site are built to help lean teams choose better campaign angles, ship more reliably, distribute across channels, and review performance without losing the thread.

If you want the model first, start with the AI marketing systems framework. If you already know you need help installing it, go to the implementation page.

Beyond the screen

When I'm not building agentic systems or prompting LLMs, I'm usually outside biking with the kids or inside making elaborate meals for friends. I believe that the best ideas come when you step away from the keyboard and spend time with the people who motivate you.

I'm a designer-builder at heart, endlessly curious about the people around me, how things work, and always looking for the most elegant solution to a complex problem.
